Project Objectives

The Lisbon Declaration on Youth Policies and Program (Lisbon, Portugal, 12.081998) stated: ‘’Recognizing that the formulation and implementation of strategies, policies, programmes and actions in favour of young women and young men are the responsibility of each country and should take into account the economic, social and environmental diversity of conditions in each country, with full respect for the various religious and ethical values, cultural backgrounds and philosophical convictions of its people, and in conformity with all human rights and fundamental freedoms’’ and ‘’Giving higher priority to marginalized, vulnerable and disadvantaged young women and young men, especially those who are separated from their families and children living and/or working in the streets, with adequate programmes, actions and necessary funding, inter alia, in order to provide them with the means and motivation to contribute effectively to their societies.’’

The broader aim of the project is to bring in virtual contact young adults – those who live in foster homes/foster care by implementing attractive ways of communication and producing relevant outputs (media - lessons, chat-room, creating cartoons), to support and encourage each other, in sharing daily rounds to develop positive opinion for active citizenship.

- make them aware of the importance of using a common language (English) and so developing their language skills;
- motivate them to participate in educational and training programmes for increasing their self- confidence and skills to adapt themselves to self-reliant life.
